UAS is the largest service provider in the Midwest and one of the top service providers in the nation. Today, UAS provides service to thousands of ATMs. Services include:
ATM Replenishment:
Consists of the replenishment of cash cassettes in the ATM, retrieval of deposits (when applicable); removal of captured cards at the ATM, and the clearing and balancing of the ATM. We also perform light housekeeping and preventative maintenance repair at the ATM with our replenishment crew.
ATM First Line Maintenance: (FLM)
ATM repair service 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (or as required by customer), 365 days a year. Our ATM technicians are dispatched through our ATM dispatch center, which keeps track of all calls received through our proprietary ATM software program. We perform a wide variety of functions, including the following:
- Repair of down ATMs
- Housekeeping of the ATM, including cosmetic care
- Access control management
- Routine alarm testing
- Set up of all second line vendors
- Guard service for second line vendors technical meets
- Videotape replacement
- Machine performance and down-time analysis
ATM Cassette Loading/Residual Counting:
UAS receives bulk cash shipments for loading into the customer's cassettes under a pre-set schedule. Returned cassettes from the ATMs are opened and the residual cash is counted and balanced and placed into the cash inventory.
ATM Deposit Verification:
Similar to currency deposit verification. ATM deposit envelopes are opened, the contents are verified and the information transmitted to the customer in a timely manner to meet the customer's deadlines and cutoffs.
Cash Forecasting:
"Time is money and cash is king." This is not just a catch phrase at UAS, but rather the philosophy in which we manage customers' cash. UAS has deployed the latest state of the art software and equipment in our cash management program. UAS cash management services are designed to reduce residual cash, reduce cash in inventory and minimize the risk of cash outages. Lost use of funds can represent the largest single cost item of your ATM programs expenses. Excessive branch cash can mean lost use of funds for investment opportunities. Our cash management forecasting program analyzes, predicts, compares and adjusts and manages cost targets that are specifically designed and tailored to our customers' individual needs.
The UAS Cash Management Team works closely with our customers to analyze data, review balance reports, develop trends based on past history and predict future cash needs, providing detailed reports to our customers through web based electronic access.
Sales/Installation of Access Control Devices:
UAS sells and installs the Mas-Hamilton access control lock for all the off-premise ATMs that we provide service to. The device is an electronic key that allows UAS to limit access to any ATM and maintain a log of all entrees into an ATM.
